We had PE, library skills, exploration place, and lots of other things going on. We took our pre-spelling test (they are relieved that our words are a lot easier this week)! We discussed our new story "Coyote School News" and we are all excited to get started with that! This afternoon we did a math lesson with math centers and then finished the day talking about Christopher Columbus...since it's Columbus Day!!
Overall, the day went really well! The kiddos did a great job, and I'm excited for a new week. Tomorrow morning I will not be in class because I will be with my son at the pumpkin patch. However, I will be back in the afternoon to do math and social studies!! It's going to be a fantastic morning with Mrs. Clift!
Reminder: if you haven't brought your pumpkin for the character activity please bring it asap!! Also, parent teacher notes went home today! Please sign and return those so I can get you marked down for a time that works! I can't wait to meet with you all at parent teacher conferences!!!
