They came in and did a fantastic job today! We talked about our new theme...which is BEING A LEADER!! We haven't had the chance to discuss it thoroughly, but we were able to get a start on it! We also finished up some lingering things from last week such as our Lost World stories and posters (those have turned out amazing)! This afternoon we started Unit 7 in math, which is all about fractions! We did a review today, which involved maked shapes and equally dividing them using Twizzler Pull-and-Peels!! Mmmmmm!!!! :) We finished the day with our first states and capitals of the North Central region (Indiana and Illinois). Bonus question: What do we call more than one rhombus?? Comment below!
This week we will be doing all kinds of activities including more fractions, drawing conclusions, vocab games, and some art! We didn't get to our pre-spelling test today so we will do that tomorrow! Also, Thursday we will have our Fan Tunnel and Character Assembly! For this we have a "superhero" theme so we are asking students to dress as super heroes on Thursday to help make this program even better!
