We are off  to a great week!!!  The kids have settled into a routine (even though our routine has been broken up by testing)!!!  So about testing...we have started a new benchmark assessment called FastBridge.  This testing will provide us with data in both reading and math.  It consists of a large group test and individual tests (in both reading and math).  So to say the least, it takes a little time!  However, the good news is...we only take this assessment 3 times/year (fall, winter, spring)!  The reports will ALL go home as soon as we conclude the testing!  If you need any help reading the reports or have any questions please let me know!!!

As for the rest of the day...we did a STEAM project building catapults, we took our pre-spelling test, we finished up our math lesson from yesterday, and we learned a new math website called ZEARN that can help with every math lesson!!  So...we got a TON accomplished!!  We will keep plowing through and having fun EVERY DAY!!  These 4th graders are AWESOME...they are so fun, polite, energetic, and enthusiastic about their learning!  I can't wait for the rest of the year!!

As for homework...make sure they are reading an AR book so they can qualify for our AR party (Deadline is Sept. 29 and they need 4 points)!  Study for the spelling test, which will be next Friday, Sept. 8.  Lastly, continue to study those multiplication facts!!!!

See you all tomorrow!
