Today went GREAT! As always, we were busy busy! We got right to work with our morning work and DLR's. We had PE, and library skills, and as soon as they finished those things we took our pre-spelling test that goes along with our story "The Lost City." Let's just say, some of them need to study study study! But...that's okay because our test isn't until Feb. 17! So, they have 2 weeks to get those words perfect! We got a glimpse into our new story about Machu Picchu! I can't wait for this story and all the fun and learning that goes along with it! I think they are going to love it! Go ahead and take a glance at the story tab to see what all is available! We are also wrapping up our Living Museum biographies! They are almost all printed and ready to be memorized! Our living museum is Friday 1:30-3:00 and you are invited to attend. Also, if you have any pieces to an outfit to make your kiddos famous person more authentic go ahead and send it to school!!
Since tomorrow is the 100th DAY OF SCHOOL, we have a lot of fun activities planned! To start with, we have to look the part, so dress like you are 100!!! Tomorrow afternoon we will be doing all kinds of math stations involving factors, multiplication, and 100!! It should be a lot of fun! We are almost to the end of Unit 6, but our Unit test will not be until next week! I want plenty of time to prepare!
It's been a great start to the week so far!! Just to touch base on last Friday (since my post got deleted), our super bowl AR party went FANTASTIC! It was super fun...tons of food, football commercials, puppy bowl, and so much more! I can't wait until our next AR party!!
