The presidential campaign turned out AMAZING! I wish you all could've witnessed their campaign to all of the classes!! "Step in tar, stuck in your car, why not grab a hershey bar?" Really...who could turn that down?!?! They also made life size presidents and wrote some fantastic biographies to go along with them.
We are well into unit 4 in math, which means we are really getting into the nitty gritty with decimals. They are doing an awesome job learning how to add, subtract, and understand the value of decimals to the thousandth!!! We have also started our states and capitals now, and we also started a new science mystery about the constellations and changing seasons!!!
Yesterday we took a walk downtown to surprise Colten and Dalee at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of their parents' new business Huckleberrys. It was an AWESOME trip, and I"m so glad we got to be a part of it!! The new business is so cool, creative, and fun...so go check it out!!!
Next week we will be doing some thanksgiving activities in preparation of Thanksgiving. We will also continue our unit 4 math! I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving!
We had so many qualify for AR this week, which is AWESOME!!! Get those points so you can attend the AR party at the end of the month!!!
Have a fantastic weekend,
Mrs. Elder
