Well...it's official...we are digging deep into our story of the week and our math lessons!! The kiddos are doing awesome with engaging in the activities, participating in all of the lessons, and making great progress in our learning! Today we listened to Because of Winn Dixie, did some awesome reading centers, talked all about parallelograms, and did some fun math centers!! Throughout all of that they earned 2 sets of stars, which earned them two trips to the candy bowl!! Woohoo!! We also had music today, which was great!!
We are super excited about our upcoming "Winn Dixie" day! In fact, at least once a day I get asked when it is (it's not until next Friday)! :) We have so much to do with our story still...so it is full speed ahead for the next few weeks!! Don't worry...it's all fun all while learning!!
Tonight's homework is to continue reading those AR books (which we went to the library today so they all should be good to go) and do math homelink 1.4. Also, keep studying those spelling words for our test next Friday!
IMPORTANT: tonight they will all be bringing home a note from Exploration Place! This MUST be signed in order to have your child's picture or video used by Exploration Place. If you do not wish to give this permission then you do not have to sign the form. This must come back tomorrow!!
BONUS QUESTION: What "attribute" would best describe a parallelogram, square, rectangle, and trapezoid?
Homework:
read for 15 min
homelink 1.4
